Sailing TOGETHER! - A Keynote in Concert by Cheryl Kirking

Weaving her unique blend of original songs, home-spun humor and personal anecdotes, Cheryl Kirking tickles the funny bones and tugs at the heart strings of audiences nationwide through her Ripples of Encouragement™ Keynotes, Concerts and Workshops.

She has written several books and recorded 6 albums of original songs, but considers her teenage triplets her greatest production! They inspire her writing and also sparked her interest in studying personality types. As a Certified Personality Trainer, Cheryl helps others improve their relationships and gain a better understanding of themselves.

Cheryl is a member of the National Speakers Association, the Gospel Music Association and is listed in "Who's Who in Professional Speaking." She has been nominated twice for "Best Female Performer" by the Independent Entertainers Association. She draws upon her background in teaching, public relations and psychology to enhance her fast-paced, uplifting presentations. She grew up on a farm in Wisconsin, and enjoys small town life with her husband and children.

Fr. Gabriel Calvo

Founder of Marriage Encounter.

Father Calvo has been involved in marriage and family ministry since his ordination in 1952. He conducted the first “Marriage Encounter” in Barcelona in December 1961.

Father also originated “Marriage Retorno” weekends. In 1976 Father Calvo came to the United States to live. It was then that he founded “FIRES” (Family Intercommunications Relationships Experiences Services). “FIRES” offer individuals, couples, families and communities opportunities to grow in love and unity.

We look forward to hearing the title of Father’s topic for the SAIL AWAY WITH M.E. conference.

Tom Jadin - "Real" Difference Between Men and Women

For thirty years Tom Jadin was on staff at Wisconsin's Winnebago Mental Health Institute where he held a variety of clinical, supervisory, and administrative positions.

Currently Tom operates a private counseling service for individuals and families and is a parttime instructor for the University of Wisconsin.

Mr. Jadin is also an internationally recognized speaker, trainer, and consultant in a wide array of topics to private corporations and public agencies throughout the U.S. and Canada. He has published and presented over 30 papers and has 10 films to his credit.

Tom Jadin is one of the warmest, down-to-earth, energetic, and humorous speakers in North America. His practical, useable advice delivered in a witty, memorable style has made him a hit with audiences of many backgrounds.

Tom lives in Appleton, Wisconsin. Most important to him, however, is the fact that he is a husband, father, pilot, and a genuine motorcycle nut!

Mary Pierce is the author of three books of inspirational humor for women, “When Did I Stop Being Barbie and Become Mrs. Potato Head?”, “Confessions of a Prayer Wimp”, “When Did My Life Become a Game of Twister?”

With degrees in education and business, she has worked as a stockbroker, teacher and corporate trainer, and has co-hosted a radio interview program. She’s met life’s changes and challenges with unfailing optimism, deep faith, and a lively sense of humor. She and her husband Terry live in Wisconsin where Mary dreams of getting her act together…someday.
